Labelling is where detergent files pass or stall, and the resolution spells the pack out: the supplier's commercial name, address and trademark; batch tracking through a detailed production date (day, month, year) or a supplier batch code; country of origin, with a note when made under a licensed trademark; ingredients per Annex (2) with any allergenic fragrance substances declared; net weight in kilograms or millilitres; the purpose of use; usage and storage instructions; and shelf life in one of three formats: production and expiry dates, a period-after-opening mark, or production date plus a suggested period. All warning phrases must appear in Arabic and English; the remaining details may be in Arabic, English or both, in a clear, indelible font, and prepackaged quantities follow the metrology rule UAE.S GSO OIML R87. Bilingual artwork is the general UAE expectation, per our
Arabic labeling guide. Treat claims with care: wording such as antibacterial or kills 99.9% of germs can pull a product toward the biocide regime, a stricter track of its own, so keep every claim aligned with what the test report actually demonstrates.
